No one won the jackpot last night. Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot leaps to $173,000,000

The lottery official announced that the Friday, May 23rd, 2025, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a carry over, creating an $173,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Tuesday. The cash value stands at an estimated $$75.7 million. The winning numbers from Friday night, May 23rd, 2025 were 07, 18, 40, 55, 68 and the Mega Ball was 18, Megaplier was .
Though the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 5 lucky players won the third prize. These included 5 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 121 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 351 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.

Not like other Mega Millions states, all the nine prize tiers of California Mega Millions are parimutuel, as opposed to non-jackpot prize having a fixed amount.
