The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $515 million

With no winner in the last drawing, the Mega Millions jackpot is going to be worth an estimated $515 million (lump-sum cash payout $346.3 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Friday. The amount rolled over since nobody matched all 6 winning numbers to win the $475 million jackpot Tuesday night. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, May 18th, 2021 were 03-05-56-61-66 with Mega Ball number 04 and Megaplier X2. Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 791 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were five second prize winners from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Mega Ball number. The five second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in won $1,000,000 cash each.
Also, 34 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 761 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 2034 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number.
