Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $468 million; 1 player won the second prize

The lottery official announced that the Friday, May 14th, 2021, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a roll-over, creating an $468 million jackpot for the next drawing Tuesday. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $316.2 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Friday night, May 14th, 2021 were 03, 18, 41, 44, 68 with Mega Ball 03 and Megaplier 2.
While there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There was a sole lucky winner matched all 5 lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in , each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 23 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. In addition, 659 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 1899 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.

Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Mega Millions lottery uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) system to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $1.
