Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $152 million Tuesday; 2 second prize tickets sold

Tuesday's Mega Millions lottery grand prize jumped to $152 million, since no player hit all 6 numbers drawn Friday night. The cash option for Tuesday will be a projected $102.2 million up for grab. Friday's $137 million is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The winning numbers from Friday, March 26th, 2021 drawing were 04, 25, 37, 46, 67 with Mega Ball 15 and Megaplier 3. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 776 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.
While there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were 2 second prize winners from Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number. This causes different prize amounts for equivalent winners sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other forty three Mega Millions states.
