Mega Millions jackpot builds to $93 million; One second prize ticket sold

Tuesday's Mega Millions game jackpot is going to be worth an estimated $93 million (cash option $62.7 million), since no one matched all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number in Friday night's drawing. The numbers from Friday, March 12th, 2021 drawing were 02, 24, 25, 31, 65 with Mega Ball number 18 and Megaplier x0.
Although the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a single lucky winner correctly matched all five numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in won a million dollar cash each.
Other prizes won Friday night included 15 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional winners Friday night included 265 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 777 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine ways to win, there were 1,057,092 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, March 12th, 2021 drawing.

Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
Not like other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize tiers of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, as opposed to non-jackpot prize having a fixed amount.
