Nobody won the jackpot last night. Massive Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

Friday night's Mega Millions game drawing has yielded no grand prize winner for the $607,000,000 grand prize. With no player matched all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number in Mega Millions lottery , Tuesday night's drawing will be worth a projected $650,000,000 for a single winner. The lump-sum cash payout will be an estimated $$308.6 million. The numbers from Friday, March 1st, 2024 drawing were 15-33-37-55-61 with Mega Ball number 24 and Megaplier 4. Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 24 draws since Tuesday, December 12th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by 2 tickets sold in CA(2), matched all six numbers and split a $395 million top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. 25 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. Among them, 25 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Other winners Friday evening included 512 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. 1425 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 prize tiers, there were a total of 2,198,944 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, March 1st, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions game is played in 43 states and D.C. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The overall chances of winning is about 1 to 14. The chances of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
Unlike other Mega Millions states, all the nine prize tiers of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, instead of non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This causes different amounts of prize for equivalent winning tickets sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other forty three states. As an example, the second Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner over $1000,000 due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery does not offer Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
