No jackpot winning ticket sold last night. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot increases to $542,000,000

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has jumped up to an estimated $542,000,000 (cash option $$242 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Friday night. The grand prize amount has been carried over because no one matched all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number to take the $511,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, June 30th, 2026 were 26-41-50-53-62 with Mega Ball 12 and Megaplier . The Mega Millions grand prize has been growing for 132 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky player from IL walked away with $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. A total of 10 lucky winners won the 3rd prize. Among them, 10 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Other winners Tuesday evening included 190 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 486 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.
With 9 prize levels, there were 700,806 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Unlike other Mega Millions states, all the 9 prize levels of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, rather than non-jackpot prize having a fixed value. This causes different prize amounts for equivalent winning tickets sold in California when compared to those sold in other 43 lotteries. One example is, the second Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner over $1000,000 due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, CA state lottery doesn't offer Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
