One lucky player in VA walked away with $348,000,000 Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

A single ticket sold in VA was the only one that matched all first 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball to claim the $348,000,000 muti-state Mega Millions lotto jackpot, according to lottery officials. The numbers from Friday, June 27th, 2025 drawing were 18, 21, 29, 42, 50 and the Mega Ball was 02, Megaplier was . The winner can either take a cash option worth $155.5 million before taxes, or choose to receive 30-year annuity option with annual payment in the amount of $13.38 million before taxes. The grand prize winner is encouraged to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
