Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $97,000,000; One player won the second prize

With no winner in the latest drawing, the Mega Millions lottery grand prize is going to be worth a projected $97,000,000 (cash value $$46.4 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Tuesday. The amount carried over because no player hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $80,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday, June 21st, 2024 drawing were 03-18-27-40-44 with Mega Ball 19 and Megaplier X4.
While the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was only one lucky player that correctly matched all five numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in TX will collect a million dollar cash each.
Additional prizes won Friday night included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
