Big Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

The Mega Millions jackpot has been pumped up to an estimated $326,000,000 (cash value $$145.7 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Tuesday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over since no one hit all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number to take the $302,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The numbers from Friday, June 20th, 2025 drawing were 26-49-58-61-63 with Mega Ball number 09 and Megaplier .
Even though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were 3 lucky winners correctly matched the first five white ball numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in GA,NJ,WA will collect a million dollar cash each.
In addition, 5 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Friday night included 158 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 436 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.

Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play, pick 5 numbers from a set of 70 and choose a Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners may choose one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
As opposed to other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize levels of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, rather than non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This results in different amounts of prize for equivalent winning tickets sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other forty three Mega Millions states. Such as, the second Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner over $1000,000 due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery doesn't have Megaplier like other Mega Millions states.
