The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $430,000,000

Nobody won Friday night's Mega Millions game drawing, worth $413,000,000, bringing the projected grand prize on Tuesday to $430,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$191.2 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, June 12th, 2026 drawing were 09, 17, 24, 39, 51 with Mega Ball number 03 and Megaplier x.
Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. 8 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. Among them, 8 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday evening included 184 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 601 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine different prize tiers, there were a total of 609,830 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, June 12th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. On average, 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players through prize winnings. Approximately 15% is used to as commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. About 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the participating lottery states. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
Compared with other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize levels of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, as opposed to non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This results in different prize amounts for equivalent winners sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other 43 lotteries. As an example, the second Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner more than a million dollar due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery doesn't have Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
