A single player in IL walked away with $560,000,000 Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night's drawing

A single of the tickets purchased in IL for the Mega Millions Tuesday night matched all six numbers drawn. The player matching all 5 numbers and the Mega Ball won the $560,000,000 grand prize. The numbers from Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 drawing were 19-37-40-63-69 with Mega Ball 17 and Megaplier 3. The winner can either take a cash option worth $258.4 million before taxes, or decide to receive 30-year annuity option with yearly payment in the amount of $21.54 million before taxes. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
In addition to the jackpot won on Tuesday, Mega Millions produced a lot more happy winners walked away with big money.
