No jackpot winning ticket sold last night. Massive Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot is on the move again. The grand prize for the Tuesday, July 16th, 2024 drawing moves to $226,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout of a projected $$106.9 million. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, July 12th, 2024 were 15, 35, 48, 53, 68 and the Mega Ball was 08, Megaplier was 3. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 11 draws since Friday, June 7th, 2024.One lucky player from IL walked away with $560 million grand prize in Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 drawing.
While the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, some players still walked away with big money. 11 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. Among them, 11 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 254 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 741 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 1,273,900 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, July 12th, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game can be played in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. On average, 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back towards the players through prizes. This causes different prize amounts for equivalent winners sold in California when compared to those sold in other forty three states. One example is, the second Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner over $1000,000 due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery doesn't have Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
