Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot jumps to $181,000,000; 3 players won the second prize

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot increased because no one hit all 6 numbers from Friday night's $162,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize moved to $181,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The cash value stands at a projected $$84.3 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, July 5th, 2024 drawing were 06, 15, 32, 54, 67 with Mega Ball number 04 and Megaplier 3.
While the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 3 tickets that matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 3 lucky ticket(s) purchased in MA,MO,TN, each won one million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 9 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then select one Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1.
