There were no Mega Millions grand prize winners for Tuesday's $50,000,000 dollar drawing, so the jackpot will build to $60,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout at an estimated $$26.9 million Friday, July 4th, 2025. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, July 1st, 2025 were 19-28-31-39-54 with Mega Ball 05 and Megaplier . Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 28 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were a total of 5 third prize winning tickets. These included 5 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 134 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 410 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $200.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. On average, 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players through prize winnings. To play, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then select a Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The overall odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The odds of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
Contrary to other Mega Millions participants, all the 9 prize tiers of California Mega Millions are parimutuel, instead of non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This causes different amounts of prize for equivalent winning tickets sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other lotteries. One example is, the 2nd Mega Millions prizes is a million dollar could pay the winner more than a million dollar due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, CA state lottery doesn't offer Megaplier like other Mega Millions states.
