$113,000,000 Mega Millions jackpot won in AZ

A single lucky winner in AZ matched all six numbers in the Friday drawing and won the $113,000,000 jackpot. The numbers from Friday night, January 17th, 2025 were 08-10-37-54-69 with Mega Ball 22 and Megaplier x3. The winner can either take a cash option worth $49.2 million before taxes, or decide to receive 30-year annuity option with annual payment approximately of $4.35 million before taxes. The grand prize winner is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
In addition to the grand prize hit on Friday, Mega Millions produced many more pleased winners walked away with huge prizes. There were two lucky winners matched all five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The two lucky ticket(s) sold in FL,MI, each won one million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and D.C. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $1. As opposed to other Mega Millions participants, all the 9 prize levels of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, as opposed to non-jackpot prize having a set value. This leads to different amounts of prize for equivalent winning tickets sold in California when compared to those sold in other forty three lotteries. Such as, the second Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner more than a million dollar due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery.
