Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $250,000,000; Two second prize tickets sold

The multi-state Mega Millions lottery jackpot has built to an estimated $250,000,000 dollars after there was no jackpot winner in Friday's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$113.5 million. The winning numbers from Friday, January 16th, 2026 drawing were 02-22-33-42-67 and the Mega Ball was 01, Megaplier was . The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 85 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were two lucky tickets matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize.
