No jackpot ticket sold. Massive Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

The Mega Millions lottery grand prize increased because no player hit all six winning numbers from Friday night's $416,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot leaped to $438,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$203.1 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday night, February 20th, 2026 were 15-40-48-58-63 with Mega Ball number 02 and Megaplier .
Although the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. A total of 9 lucky tickets won the third prize. These included 9 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 149 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 409 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners may select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
Compared with other Mega Millions states, all the 9 prize tiers of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, rather than non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This leads to different amounts of prize for equivalent winning tickets sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other 43 Mega Millions states. Such as, the 2nd Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner more than a million dollar due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, CA state lottery does not offer Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
