Friday's Mega Millions jackpot leaps to $42,000,000; Three tickets matched the first five numbers

Without a jackpot winner in the latest drawing, the Mega Millions multistate lottery game has rolled over its jackpot to $42,000,000 for Friday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$18.8 million up for grab. No player matched all 6 winning numbers to win the $20,000,000 grand prize Tuesday. The next Mega Millions lottery drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Friday night. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, December 31st, 2024 were 13-22-27-29-35 and the Mega Ball was 01, Megaplier was 2.
Though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were three second prize winners from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching the first five numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The three lucky ticket(s) sold in FL,MN,NJ, each won one million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
