A single lucky ticket in CA matched all six numbers in the Friday drawing and won the $1,220,000,000 grand prize. The winning numbers from Friday, December 27th, 2024 drawing were 03, 07, 37, 49, 55 with Mega Ball number 06 and Megaplier X3. The winner can either take a cash option worth $549.7 million before taxes, or choose to receive 30-year annuity option with annual payment in the amount of $46.92 million before taxes. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
