Friday's Mega Millions jackpot leaps to $125,000,000; 1 ticket won the second prize

The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, generating an $125,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Friday. The cash value stands at an estimated $$56.9 million. The numbers from Tuesday night, December 23rd, 2025 were 15, 37, 38, 41, 64 with Mega Ball 21 and Megaplier . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 78 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
While the grand prize was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was only one 2nd prize winner from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers except the Mega Ball number. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in will collect $1,000,000 cash each.
Also, 8 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
