The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $579,000,000

The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a carry over, generating an $579,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Friday. The cash option stands at an estimated $$276.6 million up for grab. The numbers from Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 drawing were 52-60-61-66-67 and the Mega Ball was 23, Megaplier was 4.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were 3 lucky players that matched the first five lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in OH(2),WI will collect $1,000,000 cash each.
In addition, 13 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional winners Tuesday evening included 393 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 1109 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number.
