The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $464,000,000

The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, producing an $464,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Friday. The cash value stands at a projected $$228.2 million. The numbers from Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 drawing were 34, 55, 59, 65, 70 with Mega Ball number 12 and Megaplier 4.
Although there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There was only one lucky ticket matched the first 5 numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in NY, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 13 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Also, 367 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 962 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
