No one won the jackpot last night. Mega Millions jackpot rises to $178,000,000

Without a grand prize winner in the last drawing, the Mega Millions multistate lottery game has rolled over its grand prize to $178,000,000 for Friday night's drawing. The cash option stands at a projected $$79.6 million. Nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $148,000,000 jackpot Tuesday. The next Mega Millions drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Friday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 drawing were 21, 26, 36, 44, 59 with Mega Ball 02 and Megaplier x4.
While there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 12 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 12 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 277 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 756 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $200.

The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners may select one time lump sum cash payout instead.
Not like other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize levels of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, rather than non-jackpot prize having a fixed amount.
