The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing soars to $226,000,000

The jackpot in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to $226,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$114.9 million. The prize amount was rolled over since no one hit all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number in Saturday's 211,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball lottery drawing is Monday night. The winning numbers from Saturday, May 27th, 2023 drawing were 24, 38, 39, 48, 56 and Powerball number was 04.
While there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a single ticket that matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in Texas, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 12 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
